Last week, I sent out an article to everyone who was interested in joining me for 30 Days to Release Your Financial Constriction. It outlined the energetic steps I took to manifest $880 in one hour. (If you’d like, you can read that article here.) 

Those were the energetic steps, and now I want to take you into the action steps of the process that created $880 very quickly. While there is plenty of internal energy work that influences the success of your business, there must also be action. I had set up a channel through my actions that let the money energetically come to me when I was ready.

As you’re preparing to receive money, you’ll need to have all or some of these items in place so a person can buy from you:

1. Have something for a person to buy. If you still aren’t quite sure what you’re offering and what you have for sale, how can money flow to you through your business? Money can always come from unexpected ways, but if your intention is to have a business that brings you income, you’ll need to sell things through it. As soon as possible, get clear on what you’re selling. Map out your services, programs or products, and then price them.

Ava and Rain2. List out compelling reasons for a person to purchase what you offer. People won’t buy from you unless they understand what the value is. As you create the list of what you sell, think about what a client truly desires by purchasing your product, and be sure to illustrate that. For example, many of my clients want to work several days a week, go traveling several times a year, and not feel totally overwhelmed or depleted by their business. They want to have their passions become their business, so they can play as often as possible.

3. Be willing to talk through fears that your potential client may have. Potential clients often have fears that may keep them from buying something from you. You must be willing to go into the fear with them and explore it. It’s not always a comfortable conversation to hear why a client is resistant, but you must be ok going there. Listen to what’s holding them back, and help them to see their fears in a different light. Often there is something really wonderful waiting on the other side of that fear.

Visa Card4. Have a way for your customer/client to send money. Whether you receive money through cash, check or credit card, you need to have the systems in place for a client to actually pay you. Ask yourself: “If someone wanted to purchase what I sell today, would I be able to accept their money today?”
