This success story came to my email inbox yesterday, and I am honored.

“One little Ava-ism completely re-framed a negative belief I had in my business and also gave me a record breaking $2323 day. Before speaking to Ava, I had the belief that going on holidays in my business meant complete poverty and no clients when I came back. Ava said one little sentence – ‘Traveling is my best marketing campaign’ – and it clicked. The day after I came back from 2 weeks in Hawaii, I had a record breaking $2323 day and I was ‘in the flow’ for the next 2 completely booked out weeks.
I also shared this gold nugget with a business mentor of mine and it has completely changed her business trips.”

Wow! Travel is an amazing way to enjoy yourself, learn about what you want, and it’s also a great marketing campaign.

Here’s why:
For my eye infection, I visited this pharmacy in Ramstein, Germany.

1. Uncomfortable learning experiences create great content to share with your audience.

Truthfully, travel is not all smiles and laughter. It’s a hard journey at times, and it provides us with lessons to learn. I’ve struggled on many trips, with loneliness, personality clashes, an eye infection, food poisoning in Rome, and theft.

None of this was comfortable, but I learned from every single struggle. As you embark on your own journey, you’ll be able to turn those struggles into interesting content to share with your newsletter audience, clients and colleagues. What we learn from our discomfort adds more value for the people we support.

2. Travel is the perfect opportunity to mark big shifts in your personal life and business expansion.

Paris is a prime location for engagement requests. People travel abroad to “find themselves.” It was 4 months in Europe that pointed me to the man that I love (who I still enjoy life with). Just recently, after returning from Kauai, Los Angeles, and Dallas, I made the decision to support entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs to feed the source of their business success. It meant that I would no longer take nutritional clients, and it’s quite a big change.

If you’re looking for clarity around a next big step for yourself (a decision, a shift in your business, whether or not to accept an opportunity), gift yourself with a trip. It doesn’t need to take you to the other side of the planet. It does need to take you far enough away from your normal routine to allow answers to show up.

3. Opportunities, income, and clients are waiting to greet you upon your return.

You expand when you travel, and as you return home, you’ll notice that you are energetically open and available to more clients and business opportunities than before. Those great opportunities also line up and wait for you to return. People want to hear your stories, and your own excitement becomes a magnet for everything you’ve ever wanted in your life and business.
