Prepping to take more photos in Paris

The generosity of other people on this trip through the Heart of Europe has been astounding. Before I left, I set the intention to meet helpful people who would gift me with food and whatever I needed on my journey. This wish has come true.

Gifts have come through friends, as well as people I’ve met for the first time. Some places I’ve stayed have free food supplies in the kitchen. Other gifts were pleasant surprises.

This is a list of what has been given to me in just one week of travel:

~ A photo shoot in Paris!

~ 4 tickets to ride the Paris metro

~ A 2 Euro coin

~ 2 Swiss francs and 30 cents

~ Tea and plums

~ Watermelon

~ A bell pepper

~ Gluten-free bread

~ 2 iced teas

~ 3 chocolate bars

~ 4 Lindt chocolate squares

~ 2 mini jars of jam

~ Cornflakes (I forget to make the mental request for organic corn, so the hotel I’m staying at has Kellogg’s corn flakes. I’m not sure that I will eat those, since the cereal is mostly likely made from genetically modified corn.)

~ Sesame snaps (I had been considering purchasing these at a small Indian shop in Bern, but decided not to. Then, after I bought other groceries, the owner of the store gave me a small package to thank me for my purchase. Wow! There are many other amazing stories attached to all of these gifts.)

~ A new BMW (Just kidding about that one, though I have been admiring them while I’m here.)

These gifts did not arrive just through good luck alone.

On Facebook, I recently mentioned that travel is a powerful manifestation tool. Opening yourself to new experiences is a way to get into a joyful and trusting state of mind, and wonderful rewards come from that.

Are you looking for certain gifts to come your way? Maybe you want a weekend away, a new blender for smoothies, an extra thousand dollars, or a simple cup of tea.

Set the intention to receive those gifts, and then go do something fun. Fun for me is visiting new locations, listening to great music, and sitting down for slow outdoor meals. (Today in Bern, I chose an outdoor Thai restaurant, and the photo is next to this article.) As you choose what makes you feel best, be sure to continue eating the food that allows you to glow from the inside out. It will elevate the entire experience, and the gifts you want will show up at a surprisingly fast speed.
