Is becoming more magnetic something you’ve been curious about? Do you want to be the person who walks into a room and easily magnetizes people, opportunities, and potential clients to you?

If so, here are several ways that you can become more alluring and more magnetic in your business and in your life:

1.  Let your personality come through all of your professional projects.  Write your articles with personality, have photos taken that accentuate who you are, and create a business brand that is a blend of the things you love. When your personality is woven into your business, it helps attract clients and colleagues who are a really great match to you.

2.  Be a little mysterious, especially in your marketing.  If you’re working on a long-term project, share little pieces of the project along the way, without giving everything out until you’re ready to unveil the final project. Hint at what your audience can expect next.

You’ve likely noticed that I’ve been sharing little aspects about the book I’m writing, like some of the content, and working title (A Woman’s Treasure: Grow A Business Where Making Money Feels Like Bliss), long before the book itself is published and available for sale. You can do the same thing in your own marketing, and when you do, it will give your audience something to look forward to.

3.  Activate a more alluring and attractive energy. There is this thing that I have been practicing with my own energy for about 12 years now, and though it’s hard to exactly describe what it is, I feel that’s it’s been an important part of drawing in business opportunities, along with many personal opportunities.

I’m writing about this energy more extensively in my book, so you’ll have a chance to go even deeper into this at a later time. For now, I’ll do all that I can to describe how this energy feels. It’s like sending out a blanket of love to the people around me, while also feeling more confident within myself. When I activate this part of my energy, I feel as though I am floating and gliding through life. I feel more graceful, and elegant. My jaw relaxes, while the rest of my body becomes taller.

This energy can be used in several situations, and I’ll sometimes activate it if I am feeling protective of myself, like when I’m near a person who makes me a little uncomfortable or cautious. I also activate it when I am feeling open and receptive to meeting new people, and being involved in new opportunities. Even when I was romantically single, I would use this energy to catch the attention of men who I thought were cute. As you can see, it works on many levels.

There is also another side to being magnetic, which is about gently repelling what you do not want. I believe that it’s just as important to use this aspect of your magnetism. Otherwise, you may end up stuck with an overburdening amount of business projects, or clients who you don’t feel aligned with. Work becomes a chore if you say yes to everything, and if you go against your intuition and make business decisions that don’t feel right to you.

One way that I gently and purposefully repel people is by being very clear about my ideal clients in my website and marketing materials.  Here is a description about who I believe are my ideal, as well as my non-ideal, clients:

Ava on boat with scarf“I choose to work with clients who are dedicated, ready, and extremely excited to receive the amazing professional and personal rewards that are waiting for them.

I find that this type of person makes the swiftest progress. Our decision to work together must come from a place of happiness, and I trust you to notice if we are a great fit. Please watch a few of my videos to see who I am.

Because I am dedicated to supporting the clients who are a divine match in this coaching relationship, I do not work with everyone who requests to work with me.

Here’s how you’ll know if you are an ideal client:

~ You love to laugh, and approach all of our appointments with a positive mindset.

~ The way we met unmistakably guided you to me. You may have asked for more clarity and direction in your business, or a coach, and then we were brought together.

~ You are spiritual, but you are still playing in some mass consciousness mentality. You’re often getting dragged into overwork, and you know this isn’t going to keep you happy in the long run.

~ You pay your payments on time, and feel pleasure when you pay them.

~ You hold to your commitments, because you know that if you stop halfway through, it allows others in your life to back out of their commitments to you.

~ You don’t want your life or business to be a cookie-cutter clone of everyone else. You know there is more out there, and you are ready to be unique.

~ You are open to coaching and suggestions that may move you outside of your comfort zone.

~ You are ready to grow.

~ You wish that you had more time for yourself and your personal growth.

~ You are ready to be adventurous. For you, this may mean more opportunities to travel. You are also ready to be more adventurous in your business, and step into the vision you’ve been dreaming about.

I am very particular about the clients I choose to work with privately, and I’ve noticed that non-ideal clients usually share a set of common traits.

Non-ideal clients who are not a match for my support tend to:

~ Complain about the “bad economy,” and make excuses that keep them from getting things done.

~ Blame others for their problems, without taking personal responsibility.

~ Don’t do their homework and the tasks that they are asked to do.

Now that we’ve explored becoming more magnetic, I hope that you’ll use some of these ideas to attract what you desire, and to repel any opportunities that don’t feel like a good fit for you.
