In the United States, we just finished the biggest tax season of the year. It’s likely that many people (perhaps you?) were sitting in a ball of stress earlier this month, as you finished tax details. Sadly, I have watched several businesses implode during tax season. Some entrepreneurs have such a large tax bill that they are stuck choosing between bankruptcy and closing up. Other businesses look over their financial details and must decide if it’s financially feasible to continue running their business.

Even I was a bit stressed before April 15th, as I waited to find out the amount I owed for my tax bill. I’m not sure about you, but I don’t particularly like the unknown…or waiting, especially when I am waiting to find out how much money I need to pay for something. I could feel my stress levels rising as my imagination dreamt up the worst possible scenario.

The sigh of relief occurred when I found out that my tax bill was only $100 more than I guessed it would be, and everything I needed was sitting in the bank.

Writing a check that morning became a ceremonial moment, and as I prepared to send off thousands, I thanked the money for being there for me. Then, as I walked a few hundred feet to the mailbox to deposit my payment, I felt beauty all around me. The DSCN1670blossoms on the springtime trees were glowing in the sunlight. I felt a sense of contentment. I was about to send this money out with love, and it literally felt blissful. (By the way, sending money out with love is a very important habit to establish if you want to make more money in your business. It encourages money to renew itself, which is exactly what happened, when just 2 hours later, I received an email notifying me about a payment that would immediately be coming my way.)

The reason I’m telling you about this is because my response and reactions to money used to be extremely uncomfortable and constricted (and definitely not blissful at all).

I used to often have thoughts like:

“What if my bills are more than I can handle?”

“I have no idea where I’m going to get more money.”

“Will I be able to replenish the money that I just sent out?”

“This feels so unfair ~ Why are other people making good money in their businesses, and not me?”

Over the last few years, I’ve dedicated much of my focus to healing my own money wounds, and releasing financial constriction. I’ve also been guiding my clients to do the same healing work, and they’ve experienced financial miracles ranging from gifts of hundreds to thousands of dollars in unexpected checks, and new clients showing up in miraculous ways.

I’ve also been thinking about how much I want to support you, especially if money has recently felt uncomfortable, or if you’re wondering how to create more income opportunities in your business.

I recently asked myself:

“What do people need most right now to feel financially supported?”

The answer that came to me was:

“More happiness.”

“And training so that they can create more money through their businesses.”

The exciting thing is that “more happiness” is the energetic state of being that easily brings financial opportunities. Happiness is also what I’ve relied on over the years to create money in my own business, and happiness comes first when I am helping a client grow their business. After all, making money should feel like bliss.

This is why I’m going to be leading another round of one of my most loved group programs, 30 Days to Release Your Financial Constriction. It’s one of my favorites to take women through, because it’s so much fun. Over the years, group members have excitedly reported results like new clients contacting them right after the first session. One woman had a new romantic relationship begin during our 30 Days, and another woman even received a gift of $5,000!
